Glucose 1. Blood Sugar, Units & Records

How do I switch between mmol/L and mg/dL?
Open Settings → tap Blood Sugar Unit, and choose either mmol/L (International Standard) or mg/dL (US Standard). All historical and new entries convert seamlessly without loss of precision.
How do I edit or remove an existing log entry?
Tap on any reading in the Home Log or Reports tab. You can update the glucose reading, meal context tag, notes, date, or tap Delete Entry to remove it.

Food AI 2. AI Food & Carbs Recognition

How does the AI Meal Scanner calculate carbohydrates?
When you take or upload a meal photo, our vision model identifies the ingredients, estimates portion volume, and provides estimated net carbs, calories, and glycemic impact to help you understand post-meal glucose spikes.
Can I manually adjust the AI's carb estimate?
Yes. Before tapping Save, tap on any carb or calorie value to fine-tune it based on exact food nutrition labels.

Insights 3. eA1C Estimation & 90-Day Trajectory

How is Estimated A1C (eA1C) calculated?
The app utilizes the standard clinical ADAG formula (eAG = 28.7 × A1C - 46.7) derived from your logged blood sugar readings across 30, 60, and 90-day windows. Regular daily logging improves estimation precision.
What does the 90-Day Metabolic Forecast show?
It illustrates your projected glycemic stability curve when maintaining consistent routine adherence and post-meal spike control.

Schedule 4. Routine & Post-Meal Reminders

How does the 2-Hour Post-Meal Reminder work?
When you record a meal, the app automatically schedules a notification 2 hours later to remind you to measure your postprandial glucose reading.
What should I check if notifications are not arriving?

1. On your iPhone, open Settings → Notifications → Diabetes & Blood Sugar Monitor and verify Allow Notifications is enabled.

2. Inside the app, navigate to Settings → Customize Daily Schedule and verify that your reminders are switched On.

Account 5. Subscriptions, Free Plan & Apple Billing

How do I manage or cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are handled directly and securely through Apple. To cancel or change plans:
Open iPhone Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions → select Diabetes & Blood Sugar Monitor → tap Cancel Subscription.
How do I restore my purchases on a new device?
Open the app → go to Settings (or tap any upgrade screen) → tap Restore Purchases at the bottom of the paywall view.
How do I request a refund?
Because Apple manages all in-app transactions, refund requests must be submitted directly to Apple via reportaproblem.apple.com.

Privacy 6. Local Storage & Doctor PDF Export

Is my health data private and secure?
Yes. Your health readings and personal history are stored locally on your device. We do not sell or broker personal health data to advertisers or third parties.
How do I export records for my doctor?
Go to Settings → Export Health Logs. You can generate a clinical Doctor Summary PDF with distribution stats and glycemic ranges, or export full raw data in CSV format.

Support 7. Reporting an Issue

What details should I send when reporting an issue?
Please include your iPhone model (e.g. iPhone 15 Pro), iOS version, app version, and a screenshot or brief description of what occurred.
